What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember settings, keep you signed in, or understand how pages are used.

How we use cookies

Grantibase groups cookies into two categories:

  • Strictly necessary — required for authentication, security, session management, and core site operation. These run without consent under UK PECR because the service cannot function without them.
  • Analytics (non-essential) — help us measure traffic, navigation, and performance so we can improve Grantibase. These load only if you choose Accept analytics in the cookie notice or on this page.

We do not use advertising, profiling, or marketing cookies on Grantibase.

Where your choice is stored

  • Visitors (not signed in)— your analytics preference is saved in your browser's local storage under grantibase_client_prefs.
  • Signed-in users — the same preference is also stored on your Grantibase profile in Supabase (eu-central-1, Frankfurt, EEA) so it can apply across devices. If you chose on this device before signing in, we sync that local choice to your account on login.

You can change your mind at any time using the preference controls at the top of this page. If you withdraw analytics consent after previously accepting, we reload the page so analytics scripts are not kept active in your current session.
