This project aims to create van der Waals heterostructures from two-dimensional materials to enhance their electrochemical properties for renewable energy applications. By manipulating these materials with external stimuli, the research seeks to improve energy storage and conversion technologies.
I will engineer van der Waals (vdW) heterostructures of two-dimensional (2D) materials with tuneable electrochemical response for exploitation in renewable energy applications.
