This project aims to characterize cell-matrix adhesion complexes during cell migration in three-dimensional environments. By using advanced imaging techniques, it will investigate how these complexes behave differently in 3D compared to traditional 2D systems, providing insights into cell migration mechanisms.
Integrin-mediated cell-matrix adhesion complexes (CMACs) are important modulators of cell adhesion and migration and are key transducers of cell signaling events.
