Summary

The 3Gb-TEST project aims to prepare healthcare systems for the implementation of whole genome sequencing in diagnostics. It focuses on identifying ethical, quality, and logistical challenges while developing guidelines for effective integration into clinical practice.

Objective

The landscape of genetic testing is rapidly changing.

Soon, whole genome sequence analysis (3Gb-testing) will be an effective and financially viable alternative to targeted gene analysis.
