5G-DIVE focuses on testing 5G technology in two main areas: Industry 4.0 and autonomous drone operations. The project aims to demonstrate the benefits of 5G connectivity and edge computing to enhance applications like digital twinning and drone fleet management.
Abstract: 5G-DIVE targets end-to-end 5G trials aimed at proving the technical merits and business value proposition of 5G technologies in two vertical pilots, namely (i) Industry 4.0 and (ii) Autonomous Drone Scout.
