This project explores the role of serotonin in neural information processing, particularly in olfactory tasks. By using advanced techniques, it aims to understand how serotonin influences sensory prediction and decision-making in the brain.
Serotonin (5-HT) is a central neuromodulator and a major target of therapeutic psychoactive drugs, but relatively little is known about how it modulates information processing in neural circuits.
