This project investigates the microeconomics of conflict in India, focusing on the socio-economic factors that lead to violence and its consequences. By collecting data from affected and unaffected communities, it aims to identify participants and coping strategies related to violence.
Civil conflicts have resulted in hundreds of millions of victims worldwide and constitute one of the most obvious impediment to economic development.
