This project develops a novel microchip for rapid and cost-effective isolation of nucleic acids, integrated into a microfluidics device for point-of-care diagnosis of infectious diseases. It aims to enhance the efficiency of polymerase chain reaction techniques, enabling quick detection of pathogens within 20 minutes.
