The project investigates the impacts of climate change in the Arctic, focusing on its effects on marine ecosystems, transportation, and resource extraction. It aims to provide an integrated assessment of socio-economic implications related to these climatic changes over the next two decades.
The Arctic is engaged in a deep climatic evolution.
This evolution is quite predictable at short (year) and longer scales (several decades), but it is the decadal intermediate scale that is the most difficult to predict.
