ACCORDANCE develops an advanced optical access network architecture using Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access technology to achieve high capacity and long reach. This project aims to integrate optical, radio, and copper technologies to enhance broadband connectivity and resource allocation.
ACCORDANCE introduces a novel ultra high capacity (even reaching the 100Gbps regime) extended reach optical access network architecture based on OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access) technology/protocols, implemented through the proper mix of state-of-the-art photonics and electronics.
