The ACDC_Q project develops a compact and cost-effective system for controlling and reading nitrogen-vacancy centres in diamond, enabling advanced quantum sensors. It aims to enhance applications in magnetometry for fields such as non-destructive evaluation and space monitoring.
Quantum sensors using nitrogen-vacancy (NV) spin colour centres in diamond have made great strides from scientific curiosity towards practical applications.
