This research explores how the amygdala influences decision-making processes in animals, particularly focusing on the interaction between the amygdalostriatal and corticostriatal pathways. By studying neural mechanisms, the project aims to clarify how emotional factors affect decision-making behavior.
The environment is an ever changing system to which an animal has to properly respond in order to survive.
