The ADD-ON project aims to develop an Optical Sensor Network to monitor various structural health metrics in aircraft, such as delamination and corrosion. This network will facilitate real-time data transfer and integrate seamlessly into aircraft systems.
The main objective of the ADD-ON (Advanced Damage Detection though Optical sensor Network) project is to investigate the feasibility of developing an unique Optical Sensor Network (OSN) to control the various classes of distributed and punctual optical sensors.
