The Advancing Digital Democratic Innovation project explores how digital tools can enhance civic participation and preference formation. It aims to design and test open-source platforms that facilitate citizen engagement in democratic processes.
The Advancing Digital Democratic Innovation (ADDI) project will pioneer the study of digitally augmented forms of civic participation for preference formation and elicitation.
While digital technology has, for some time now, been widely seen as being in direct conflict with the needs of a well-functioning democracy, ADDI will realise the true potential of digital technologies in the democratic space.
