The ADiBAS project develops a compact and affordable system for analyzing body postures using computer vision. This technology aims to assist physiotherapists in evaluating musculoskeletal disorders more accurately and efficiently, ultimately improving rehabilitation plans for patients.
Musculoskeletal disorders affect more than 80% of the world population and are one of the most important causes of disability in elders (e.g. rheumatoid arthritis or osteoporosis).
Currently, these anomalies are evaluated by Physiotherapists (PT) that use traditional physical examinations to establish suitable rehabilitation plans.
