This project aims to enhance the management of low-voltage cables in nuclear power plants by developing techniques for monitoring their condition. It focuses on assessing cable degradation and optimizing existing monitoring methods to ensure safety and reliability.
The assessment of the condition of low-voltage instrumentation, control, and power cables in nuclear power plants is of increasing importance as plants age and lifetime extensions are envisaged.
