This project integrates research, innovation, and education to develop new products using silica-titania nanoparticles aimed at enhancing solar cells and organic light-emitting diodes. It focuses on improving manufacturing processes and training personnel in advanced techniques.
The proposal addresses each of the three elements of the so-called 'knowledge triangle', i.e. research, innovation and education.
The proposed programme is based partly on nationally funded multidisciplinary (Photonics, Nanoelectronics, Chemistry, Materials Science) projects that have been recently awarded to the partners from Academia and is designed to provide added value from the obvious synergies between these projects.
