AMAZALERT focuses on understanding the complex interactions between climate change, land use, and socio-economic factors in the Amazon. It aims to develop an Early Warning System to detect potential irreversible changes in the ecosystem and propose policy strategies to mitigate these risks.
AMAZALERT will enable raising the alert about critical feedbacks between climate, society, land-use change, vegetation change, water availability and policies in Amazonia.
