This project develops a lab-on-a-chip platform for the rapid detection and quantification of zoonotic parasites that cause food- and waterborne diseases. It integrates sample preparation, genetic identification, and microfluidic technology into a cost-effective diagnostic tool aimed at enhancing food and water safety.
The project aims at developing of a molecular integrated platform “lab-on-a-chip” to rapidly and simultaneously detect, quantify and genotyping emerging zoonotic parasites responsible for food- and waterborne diseases (FWBD).
