This project focuses on transforming traditional water meters into smart meters using a communication unit that enhances data collection and management. The technology aims to improve water consumption monitoring, making it easier for municipalities to manage resources efficiently.
Smart water meters (or AMR – automatic meter reading), using advanced communication technologies, facilitate more frequent, higher resolution and remotely accessible data generation – imperative for the level of control and planning that is demanded by today’s consumers and businesses.
