This project investigates the formation of sensor networks using low-power computing nodes that autonomously establish communication. It focuses on addressing fundamental challenges in routing and scheduling under adversarial conditions, enhancing the reliability of these networks without centralized control.
Sensor nodes are very weak computers that get distributed at random on a surface.
Once deployed, they must wake up and form a Radio Network called a Sensor Network.
Although Sensor Networks is a very active research area, most of this work is either empirical or includes unreallistic assumptions regarding the capabilities of the sensor nodes.
