This project investigates how specific neuronal circuits in the brain control behavior, particularly focusing on appetitive learning. By utilizing various advanced techniques in mice, the goal is to understand the interactions between circuits responsible for both appetitive and aversive learning.
The project outlined here addresses the fundamental question how the brain encodes and controls behavior.
