This project investigates animal remains from archaeological sites in Italy and Britain to understand cultural changes during the Late Iron Age and Early Roman periods. It aims to analyze husbandry practices, livestock diversity, and the impact of local cultures on these communities through interdisciplinary methods.
Archaeological evidence has indicated that major cultural changes occurred in Europe between the Late Iron Age and Early Roman periods, although these were neither homogeneous nor universal.
