This project aims to synthesize an artificial chloroplast genome in Nicotiana tabacum, leveraging advancements in DNA synthesis and synthetic biology. By designing and testing various genome configurations, it seeks to enhance our understanding of chloroplast functions and potentially improve photosynthesis.
