The ASTEASIER project focuses on developing efficient methods to produce and extract natural astaxanthin and omega-3 fatty acids from microalgae. This innovative approach aims to reduce production costs and improve sustainability for applications in aquaculture and nutraceuticals.
Microalgae are photosynthetic unicellular microorganisms which can be cultivated at industrial level and adopted as sustainable platforms to produce high value biobased products.
