This project focuses on developing a compact detector for topologically structured light, which can enhance applications in telecommunications and energy harvesting. The goal is to create a prototype that operates in the microwave spectrum and performs reliably in real-world conditions.
Recent advances in controlling the topological structure of light open up opportunities for new information and energy carriers with applications from telecommunications and spectroscopy to metrology, imaging, and remote sensing.
