ASTRAL focuses on developing sustainable aquaculture practices by integrating multiple species in a single system. This project aims to enhance profitability and environmental sustainability by improving circularity in aquaculture production.
ASTRAL will develop new, sustainable, profitable and resilient value chains for integrated multi-trophic aquaculture (IMTA) production within the framework of existing, emerging and potential Atlantic markets.
