This project focuses on developing a one-pot method for the enantioselective reductive amination of ketones using multifunctional catalysts. The goal is to create optically pure amines efficiently, which can serve as ligands in catalysis and intermediates in fine chemistry, promoting environmentally friendly processes.
The need for direct catalytic transformations with economy of matter, solvent and catalyst is a challenge for modern chemistry towards clean and environmentally friendly processes.
