The ATLAS project investigates the effectiveness of legal frameworks in promoting human rights and international humanitarian law during armed conflicts. It aims to identify normative gaps and propose solutions to enhance the protection of human rights in contemporary conflicts involving diverse actors.
The cooperative project ATLAS responds to this call by examining the role and impact of the rule of law and international humanitarian law applicable during armed conflict with regard to effectively promoting and protecting human rights.
