The project focuses on enhancing the efficiency of software in data centers and ICT devices by developing a methodology for automatic incremental computing. This approach allows programs to react to changes in input without needing to recompute results from scratch, significantly improving time and energy efficiency.
The energy consumption of data centers and ICT devices grows at an alarming rate and will be responsible for up to 20% of the global energy consumption by 2030.
