The AVATAR project aims to transform personalized medicine by linking genetic variants to metabolic phenotypes through a computational modeling framework. It will analyze the interplay of genetics, diet, and microbiome to enhance the understanding of individual health and develop targeted treatments.
The increasing availability of whole-genome sequences will ultimately transform medicine into personalised medicine.
