The AVERT-IT project focuses on creating a bedside monitoring system to predict and alert healthcare providers about potential hypotension in patients. By utilizing advanced data analysis and machine learning, it aims to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs associated with intensive care.
Hypotension (sub-normal blood pressure) adverse events (AE's) occur commonly in patients managed in intensive care and high dependency units.
