This project investigates the interactions between influenza A virus and avian hosts to understand the molecular basis of host specificity. It aims to identify key proteins involved in these interactions to inform future pandemic preparedness.
Influenza virus is an RNA virus of the Orthomyxoviridae family, which includes three Genera: influenza A, B, and C.
We will focus on influenza A virus and study host/pathogen interactions.
