B-SHAPES investigates the influence of borders on societal perceptions in Europe, particularly in light of recent border closures. It aims to promote cross-border heritage policies that foster inclusivity and cultural understanding among citizens in border regions.
The purpose of B-SHAPES is to refocus on the role of borders in shaping perceptions of European societies in the 21st century, confronted with the challenge of re-borderings in Europe.
