BacTheRNA focuses on developing innovative circular RNA-based therapeutics using food-grade bacteria to address production costs and delivery challenges. By leveraging the stability and scalability of circular RNAs, the project aims to create effective treatments for Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and other diseases.
RNA therapeutics are a rapidly growing field of research, thanks to their enormous potential.
However, production costs and delivery systems represents the major issues for their widespread use in clinics.
