This project aims to enhance computer graphics rendering by developing a new adaptive sampling strategy for Bayesian Monte Carlo methods. It focuses on improving the accuracy of light transport simulations, particularly in complex scenes with non-diffuse materials.
One of the most challenging problems in computer graphics (CG) is to synthesize physically-based realistic images given an accurate model of a virtual scene.
