The project focuses on enhancing understanding and implementation of Joint Programming in research through a conference. It evaluates existing Joint Programming Initiatives and discusses necessary framework conditions for effective collaboration among European research entities.
The context and purpose of the Conference are relevant to the topics addressed by the call for the three following reasons.
First, the conference’s starting point is in line with the Competitiveness Council conclusions concerning Joint Programming, mentioned in the work programme as rationale of the topic “Actions in support of the European Union's initiative on Joint Programming in Research”.
