The project focuses on enhancing energy efficiency in buildings through the development of prefabricated modules for renovation. These modules incorporate advanced materials and systems to minimize installation time and environmental impact, while a digital workflow supports the renovation process.
About 40% of the overall energy consumption in Europe is related to the building sector and represents about 1/3 of Europe’s CO2 emissions.
The successful accomplishment of the emission reduction target by 2050, involves the need to increase the rate of retrofitting of the inefficient building stock up to 2.9%.
