This project investigates barriers to exercising European citizenship rights, aiming to enhance understanding of the complexities involved. It examines contradictions in rights, institutional differences, and practical challenges, with a focus on promoting a more inclusive citizenship framework across the EU.
The European Court of Justice expects European citizenship to become the fundamental status of nationals of the Member States.
