The Bio-HhOST project focuses on creating bio-hybrid materials that integrate living and artificial cells to influence cellular behavior. This research aims to enhance applications in bio-printing, organoid development, and targeted cancer therapies.
The Bio-HhOST project (bio-hybrid hierarchical organoid-synthetic tissue) deals with the creation of bio-hybrid materials that comprise living & artificial cells, in dynamic communication, such that artificial cells may influence the proliferation, differentiation and function of living cells.
In this way the project fits perfectly into the EIC Engineered Living Materials (ELMs) Initiative.
