Biodiversity CHANGE focuses on understanding and addressing the rapid shifts in species within ecosystems due to human impact. The project aims to create an open-access database that consolidates fragmented data, providing essential resources for policymakers and conservation managers to tackle biodiversity loss.
Biodiversity CHANGE is a major, but still underappreciated, threat to humanity.
It arises when there is unprecedented turnover in the identities of species that comprise ecological assemblages.
