BiodivScen aims to coordinate international research on biodiversity and ecosystem services by networking funding agencies across 24 countries. The project focuses on developing scenarios to inform policy makers and promote sustainable use of biodiversity through collaborative research and stakeholder engagement.
Current knowledge and conventional awareness-raising have largely proven insufficient to tackle the issue of biodiversity and ecosystems degradation.
