The BioHeatingOil project aims to create an automated system for producing bio heating oil from waste fats and greases, including those from grease traps. This method enhances product quality and reduces waste disposal costs.
The BioHeatingOil project will develop a robust and cost-effective automated processing method, a “Green Box”, for production of bio heating oil - using waste sources in form of fat & grease from the food production industry and grease traps as raw material.
In current State of the art (SoA) methods which use fat & grease as a raw material, the quality of the raw material put into the production determine the quality of the end product.
