BIOPOOL aims to create an intelligent network linking digital data from biobanks, focusing on histological images and associated information. The project enhances data sharing, visualization, and analysis to support medical research and education, ultimately improving diagnosis efficiency and reducing costs.
Biobanks are facilities that provide archived human biological samples for their use in health research.
