This project aims to predict the ecotoxicity of toxic metals in sediments of European estuaries. It focuses on modeling metal bioaccumulation in infaunal invertebrates to improve environmental risk assessments and enhance monitoring capabilities.
The central objective of this project is to provide a scientific basis for the prediction of the ecotoxicity of toxic metals to local biodiversity in sediments of European estuaries subject to anthropogenic contamination.
