The BISCUITS project aims to identify biomarkers related to dietary carbohydrate quality and their impact on chronic diseases like type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. By integrating various data sources, it seeks to reveal the biochemical mechanisms linking carbohydrate intake to health outcomes.
