BITRECS is a fellowship program designed to train clinician-scientists through international research projects. It combines academic and practical training to enhance healthcare innovation and improve the integration of clinical and research practices.
Significant advances in clinical practice cannot be made without a thorough understanding of the disease mechanisms from laboratory benches combined with good clinical observation and knowledge of disease management from the bed side.Clinician-scientists are the only professionals who can bridge these two worlds.
