This project explores advanced methods for creating single enantiomers in organic synthesis using enantioselective catalysis. It aims to expand the use of non-stabilized nucleophiles in dynamic kinetic asymmetric transformations to improve the efficiency of chemical reactions.
The formation of carbon-carbon bonds in an asymmetric fashion is a very useful process in synthetic chemistry, since it generates single enantiomers of chiral molecules at the same time as the molecular framework is being assembled.
