This project examines the neural mechanisms behind impulsive versus cautious decision-making. By integrating cognitive models with neural data, it aims to uncover how brain connectivity influences behaviors related to impulse control and addiction.
Why do some people make decisions impulsively while others are more cautious?
The answer may lie in individual differences in synaptic connectivity strengths within the underlying brain network.
