This project explores the use of nano energy-conversion phosphors in ionic liquids to improve the efficiency of photonic devices like LEDs and solar cells. The technology aims to enhance performance without requiring new device designs, making it commercially viable.
The idea which should be taken to the proof of concept is the application of nano energy-conversion phosphors in ionic liquids.
The energy efficiency and performance of photonic devices such as CFLs (compact fluorescent lamps), LEDs (light emitting diodes) and SCs (solar cells) will be improved by more efficient use of light.
For this, special nano energy-conversion phosphors (ecPs) will be coated on the respective device by a new technique relying .
